1-2-3-4
This happened when we were in Florida. It’s my most embarrassing moment as a worship leader. We were coming to the end of a set of songs asking Christ to be the center of our lives. Be Thou My Vision flowed right into Jesus, Be the Centre. At the end of the song, our drummer, who was playing on the dreadful electronic drums, accidentally hit the “Count Off” button. So, as we sang the words, “Be the reason that I live,” we began to hear, “1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4…” over and over and over again. The only appropriate response at that moment was to laugh and turn it over to the pastor. How do you recover from something like that? Enjoy.

thats hilarious… it reminded me of the time you recorded Derek Webb singing “The Church” and then I recorded it onto my computer and uploaded it as the first bootleg copy of that song… but it had an AOL Instant Messenger door slam in the middle of it… of course that wasn’t quite as embarrassing, i’m sure…

ok…don’t know if you remember me… I was checking out the concert series… AND SO WISH WE STILL LIVED IN CHARLESTON!! Anyway… I just HAD to email you and tell you that story is hilarious…I am going to have to play that one for Chris. Take care and I pray all is going well for you…in Christ, jenny
